Clusters of galaxies are the most massive objects in the Universe and constitute a cosmological probe of choice. Cluster abundance as a function of mass and redshift permits a precise measurement of cosmological parameters including matter density and rms fluctuations. Cluster redshift can be directly measured via spectroscopic measurements. By contrast their mass can only be inferred indirectly, making it the limiting factor for cluster cosmology. We will discuss the study of clusters of galaxies via the Sunyaev-Zeldovich (SZ) effect, which has known an exceptional development in the last decade thanks to CMB instruments like the Planck satellite, ACT and SPT. The SZ effect can also be used to measure cluster masses and other physical properties such as pressure, temperature, line-of-sight velocity, turbulence, dynamical state, etc. We will show results from a series of KID based cameras — NIKA, NIKA2, KISS and CONCERTO — that has been operated in large telescopes like the IRAM 30 m telescope in Granada and APEX in the Atacama desert. These cameras have provided the first ever astrophysical and cosmological measurements with KID technology.
